About Rob Moore

Rob Moore is a professional painter and printmaker based in Irton, near Scarborough, UK. Working from his painting studio and printmaking workshop, he creates imaginative, abstracted landscapes rich with symbolism and metaphor – exploring themes of environmental change and climate impact. His visual language has evolved over time, drawing inspiration from observation, history, memory, geography, and the experience of walking through diverse and inspiring landscapes.

Beyond his own artistic practice, Rob is an active curator and event organizer. He curates exhibitions at The Old Parcels Office (OPO) in Scarborough and regularly plans and hosts live original music events at the venue, bringing together creativity in multiple forms.

With an extensive exhibition history, Rob has showcased his work in museums and galleries across the UK, both in solo and group exhibitions within public and private collections. His studio is open to visitors during North Yorkshire Open Studios and by appointment for art lovers interested in seeing his work in person.
